You can make a lot of money selling a domain name. The best way to get information on how to make the most out of your domain name is by going online and doing some research. Look at different domain forums. The best domain names are generic ones that people will easily be able to stumble across in a search.
As a domain reseller you are going to need to be realistic about what you can do. Instead of just one word domain, try a two or three key word domain. This is going to help you to be able to help you out when you are obtaining the name. Think of a generic item that comes in several different sub sections. For example, think of cars, now think of cheap cars, new cars, used cars. The possibilities are endless.
Find names that are only partially generic, something like ‘training’ that has another keyword with it. This keyword may be the name of a company. Be sure not to get any names that are trademarked, this will be the fastest way to put your domain out of business. Don’t think that you can only go with a .com suffix. There are plenty others available, they may not be worth as much but they are a great way to start out.
Get about ten domain names to start off with. Play around with the pricing and check out forums. If your name goes too quickly, then up the price for the next one, people are not shy about telling you if you are asking for too much.
